Space Battleship Yamato theme: the full version
As revealed in the Yamato Party 2009 report, the biggest surprise was the addition of two new verses to the famous theme song, which Japanese fans have actually known about for many years, since they were first published in a foldout posterbook that came with the September 1978 issue of Adventure King magazine (shown below). They were later reprinted in Office Academy's script book for the first TV series (1979). And now we proudly present the entire song for the first time in English.
What's more, here is a MIDI rendering of the theme to help you practice your karaoke. It's only two verses long, so you'll need to play it twice.
